The cowboy's staying active will fight Dos Anjos at UFC on FOX Sports 1 #2
by Jack Broadey @J3cK_bDonald Cerrone (20-5-1 MMA 7-2 UFC) will meet Rafael Dos Anjos (19-6 MMA 8-4 UFC) at UFC on FOX Sports 1 #2. The event takes place on August 28th at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis with the main card airing on the soon to debut FOX Sports 1 channel in the states and on BT Sports in the UK.
Fresh off a dominant victory over KJ Noons, Cerrone will come in looking to get himself on a run similar to that of 2011. Cerrone likes to stay active and fight as often as possible. In 2011 he ran through four straight opponents in his debut year in the UFC. He went on to split wins and losses over the next four fights in the last 18 months, losing only to Nate Diaz and Anthony Pettis both of who received title shots after beating the cowboy.
Rafael Dos Anjos brings a solid four fight winning streak into the contest. He won a controversial decision against Evan Dunham last time out. Dos Anjos also likes to stay active and has already had twelve fights in the UFC going 8-4 in that time. The winner of this fight will have a strong case to move towards a title shot with the division sorting itself out in recent months. There isn't a whole lot of contender at the weight at the moment and both men will have a lot on the line come August 28th.
