James Brum Added to Cage Warriors Baghdad Card

Part of ambitious expansion plan which has seen Cage Warrior visit 11 different countries in the last 18 month, the Iraqi capital will play host to Cage Warriors 61 on the 14th of December; the landmark show will be the first time an international promotion has stage a show in the country.
Currently on a 7 fight win streak including notable victories over Martin McDonough, Olivier Pastor, and Rusian Abiltarov, Brum (13-2) was expected to challenge newly crowned Bantamweight Champion Brett Johns, at Cage Warriors Newcastle card, December 7th however Johns withdraw due to injury.
Fighting out of GYM01 with UFC fighter Phil Harris, Brum was voted CWFC Fighter of the Year for 2012, due to his impressive performances inside the cage. The highest ranked European bantamweight not under contract with the UFC, Brum has taken 7 of his career victories by stoppage, with his only losses coming early in his career to Kris Edwards, and UFC Bantamweight contender Erik Perez.
James Brum's Cage Warriors 61 opponent is expected to be announced within the next few days.
